Introduction
Welcome to the Halo Staffing Care Workforce Pathway eLearning course on infection prevention and control measures.
We will begin this course with an explanation of an infection cycle.
Basic hand hygiene would be the next topic.
The following section will inform you about personal protective equipment (PPE).
We will then inform you about safe handling and disposal of waste in a care setting.
Finally, we will list the things you can do as a care worker to prevent the spread of any infection.
