If you’re looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference to someone’s life every single day, our Support Worker vacancy in Exeter could be exactly what you’re looking for.

What is the role about?

As a Support Worker in Exeter, no two days are the same. You’ll be providing bespoke, person-centred support to an individual with a learning disability, rapid-cycle bipolar disorder, autism, and complex health needs within their own supported living home.

Working alongside an established care team, you’ll follow a comprehensive care plan and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework to ensure the individual receives the highest standard of care while promoting independence, dignity and choice.

Your day-to-day responsibilities could include:

  • Assisting with meal preparation and personal care.
  • Supporting mobility, including the use of a wheelchair and mobility vehicle.
  • Delivering structured, compassionate support using the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
  • Encouraging community access and social participation.
  • Empowering the individual to live as independently and confidently as possible.
