As a Community Care Assistant / Domiciliary Carer, you will be providing high quality support to people who have varying levels of learning disabilities and autism are deaf and hearing impaired. You will be responsible for coordinating appointments, helping with menu planning and shopping, as well as college/work placements and related activities. You will also promote independence and dignity, and social activities such as going out and talking to those using sign language.

You will receive full training as a Community Care Assistant / Domiciliary Carer and will be supported by a team of Support Workers and Care Assistants as well as our amazing office team. Together we will ensure that our customers receive the best service and are able to integrate into their local communities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • BSL (British Sign Language) Level 2 (Level 1 will be considered)
  • 6 months previous experience
  • Must have a valid Driving Licence
  • Must have business insurance if using own car
  • Must be double vaccinated
