When creating a CV, it’s easy to not know which skills to include which can become a barrier when applying for a job. Here are some tips to help you become a pro at filling out your skills section.
The most useful thing you can do is to write out what you want to say first, think of a few skills that best describe you and think of ways you could further explain them and examples of when you have used these skills, this could be at previous jobs, during school or just in your day-to-day life.
Remember to always check your spelling and punctuation. This is incredibly important when applying for a job.

Remember to not include too many or go into too much detail. Skills are used to get employers interested in what you can bring to the company, you’ll need to be prepared for the possibility of talking more about the skills you put down so be truthful.
