Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course on Sight Guidance. In this course, we’ll go through everything you’ll need to know in order to guide an individual with limited or no vision comfortably and effectively. 

We will begin by describing what sight loss is, and give a rough estimate of the number of people affected by sight loss.  

From there, we’ll go into listing the most common eye conditions and causes of sight loss.  

After that, we’ll look at the different levels of sight loss an individual can have.  

The fourth section will be on the legal policies that are relevant to the topic of sight loss.  

The next section will be on the best ways to approach an individual who is partially sighted, or severely sight impaired.  

Finally, we’ll cover the best ways to comfortably, safely, and effectively guide individuals that have sight loss.
