As a Support Worker – Learning Disabilities, you will provide the best levels of support for people with varying levels of Learning disabilities, Autism and Epilepsy in your local community. In your role you will promote independence and dignity, empowering people to live how they choose.
No two days will be the same! One moment you could be supporting someone with daily activities they find challenging such as cooking or eating, another you could be helping them to access local community services such as shops, education, cafes, and parks. You will receive full training as a Support Worker – Learning Disabilities and will be supported by other support workers and Carers in the team as well as our amazing office team. Together we will ensure that people with disabilities receive the best service and support and are able to integrate into their local communities.
