Many health and social care professionals already living in the UK choose to switch sponsors or renew their current visa. This may happen if your employment ends, your employer loses their sponsor licence, or you wish to move to another region or provider.
Step 1: Identify Licensed Employers in Your Area
Use the Register of Licensed Sponsors to find approved employers in the regions where Halo Staffing provides placements. This ensures that once your sponsorship is confirmed, you can access additional shifts and flexible hours through Halo Staffing within your local area.
Step 2: Obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)
After receiving a job offer from a licensed employer, the company will issue a new CoS. This unique reference number is required when submitting your visa application to switch or extend your permission to work in the UK.
Step 3: Submit Your Visa Application
You must apply through the UK Government visa portal, using your new CoS. Include proof of identity, qualifications, and English language ability where required.
Step 4: Begin or Continue Working
Once your updated visa is approved, you may start or continue your work under the new sponsorship terms. Ensure there are no gaps in your right to work during this transition.
