Topics that will be covered include how to identify a casualty, carry out a primary survey, the recovery position, how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants; what to do if the casualty has an obstructed airway and airway maintenance, and record keeping after being involved in an incident.
This course is not a replacement for a First Aid course, and you should be a certified first aider before attempting to assist with a casualty.
