- Describe the cycle of infection
- Demonstrate how to maintain basic hand hygiene
- To know what constitutes PPE, name five items of PPE, and be able to describe when it must be worn
- Understand the steps involved in safe handling and disposal of contaminated waste in a care setting
- Describe the things you can do to prevent the spread of infection
