Welcome to the Halo Staffing Care Workforce Pathway eLearning course on Managing people’s personal information safely.

We will begin this course by establishing some basics with regards to confidentiality and the need to manage people’s information safely.

We will then inform you about the concept of consent (i.e.) what information the person you support has agreed to share with others and what they wish to remain confidential.

Here, we will also inform you if consent can be withdrawn by the IE or the person you will be supporting.

At this point we will list all the relevant legislations in the UK.

Finally, we will inform you about the importance of handling information in accordance with the requirements of your individual employer.
