Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course on Positive Behaviour Support. In this course, we will take you through everything that you’ll need to know in order to be able to begin supporting individuals with their behaviours.
The first section will cover what Positive Behaviour Support is, and what makes up effective support.
Following that, we’ll touch on what the behaviour of an individual might be, and how it can be challenging.
From there, the reasons behind behaviours will be touched on, along with what may be triggering the behaviour.
After that will be your reactions to challenging behaviours.
Finally, what you can do to help with Positive Behaviour Support will be covered.

This course has been carefully designed for carers, support workers, nurses and managers who want to learn more about Positive Behaviour Support. What will I learn?
This course will provide you and/or your team with an understanding of the ways you can support individuals with their behaviours, what positive behaviour is, what the behaviour of an individual might be, what the reasons behind behaviour are and what triggers this behaviour. You will also learn about what your reactions to challenging behaviour should be.
