Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course on modern slavery. In this course we’ll go through everything you’ll need to know to recognise and reduce the risk of modern slavery.
The first section will cover what modern slavery is, and how it is defined.
From there, we’ll look at what the Modern Slavery Act of 2015 entails.
After that, we’ll list some of the types of modern slavery that exist.
The fourth section will list some of the signs that may indicate modern slavery.
From there, we’ll cover the impact that modern slavery has, both on people and on businesses.
The sixth section will cover measures that you and your organisation can take to reduce modern slavery.
After that, we’ll describe what you should do if you have a concern of modern slavery within your organisation.
Finally, we’ll look at what you need to do if you are a member of a designated organisation (one with specific anti-modern slavery duties) and you encounter an instance of modern slavery.
