Proudly Supporting Leonard Cheshire

Empowering People to Live, Learn and Work Independently

Halo Staffing are delighted to be supporting Leonard Cheshire through the eLearning course, Learning Disability Awareness. Together we hope to spread awareness of learning disabilities and empower disabled people to live, learn and work independently.

Halo Staffing are specialists in providing staffing solutions within Health and Social Care across England and Wales and have ambitious plans to become the first choice Health and Social Care service for staffing solutions. In this 3-year collaboration, Halo Staffing will provide much needed funds by donating 10% of revenue from all sales of this course.

Scott Shill, Managing Director commented: “having supported people of all abilities for over 25 years I have seen what a difference you can make by empowering people. People of all abilities should be empowered to make their own life choices; living, working and learning how they wish. Although this has improved, there is still much to learn for many people.”

Jack Cuthbertson, Fundraising Development Executive says “We’re thrilled to be working with Halo Staffing to raise funds that support our work. Leonard Cheshire relies on the generosity of organisations such as Halo Staffing, and their support will help make a real and lasting difference to the lives of disabled people.

It’s also great to be working with an organisation that shares Leonard Cheshire’s vision for a more inclusive world, one where disabled people are supported to live as independently as they choose, whatever their ability, and we’re looking forward to seeing where the partnership develops.”

We are keen for more people to better understand the effects that learning disabilities have on a person and their families, and how best to support them by completing this eLearning course.
