Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course on – Ethical use of technology.

At the beginning of this course, we will explain why technology should be used ethically in the Health and Social Care sector.

The next section will be about consent and its importance.

At this point we will list all the relevant legislations in the UK.

The next section will explain the need to involve and support people to make informed choices on the use of technology for their care.

We will also inform you what you should do if you are concerned that technology may be negatively impacting someone or their rights.

The final section of this course will reinforce the importance of using technology for the benefit of people and to enhance their rights.
