At Halo Staffing, we are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join our team in Exeter. In this role, you will provide bespoke, high-quality support to an individual with a learning disability, rapid-cycle bipolar disorder, autism, and complex health needs.
The client resides in their own home within a supported living environment. To ensure the highest standard of care and safety, a comprehensive care plan alongside a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework is already fully established.

Role Responsibilities:
No two days are the same, but your core responsibilities will include:
- Daily Support: Assisting the client with meal preparation and personal care.
- Mobility Assistance: Supporting the client’s mobility; while they can walk, they also utilise a wheelchair and a mobility vehicle.
- Behavioural Support: Providing structured, compassionate care. The client can occasionally exhibit self-injurious behaviour, requiring someone who can calmly and effectively implement the PBS framework.
- Community & Independence: Promoting dignity, empowering the client to live a fulfilling life, and assisting with community access.
