Welcome to Halo Staffing Care Certificate Standards: Standard 2 – Understand Your Role.

We will explain how to identify your learning and development needs, contribute to your personal development plan, and understand who should be involved in agreeing and supporting your development.

We will then explain how feedback can help you improve your performance and development, and how the literacy, numeracy, communication and digital skills required for your role can support effective working.

You will then be able to identify sources of information, support and guidance to develop your skills, and understand how reflection on learning activities, workplace experiences and feedback can improve your knowledge, skills and understanding.

We will also inform you how to measure your knowledge, performance and understanding against relevant standards, record your progress towards development goals, identify learning opportunities, and recognise the importance of continuing professional development in improving your practice.
