Description

Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course on Stress and Resilience. In this course, we will go through everything that you’ll need to know in order to be able to manage your own stress and resilience.

The first section will cover what stress is, what resilience is, and some of the potential signs of stress.

Following that, we’ll look at situations that may be stressful, and how you can go about reducing your stress levels from them.

After that, coping with stress will be touched on, along with some of the major ways that you can help reduce stress in your life.

From there, we’ll look at how to recognise stress in yourself.

The fifth section will look at tracking your resilience, and what the signs of high resilience are.

Finally, we’ll look at improving your resilience, and how to get better at dealing with stress over time.

Is this for me? 

This course has been carefully designed for carers, support workers, nurses and managers who want to learn more about Stress and Resilience. Completing this course will ensure that you are fully up to date with relevant content to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in your field. 

Why should I take this course? 

You should take this course if it’s necessary for you or your team to keep people safe and if it’s important for you to manage your own stress. Keeping in line with Skills for Care and the key legislation such as the Equality Act 2010, Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. 

What will I learn? 

This course will provide you and/or your team with an understanding of how to manage your own stress and resilience, what stress is, what resilience is, what the signs of stress are and how to reduce stress for both yourself and others. You will also learn about what the signs of resilience are, how to keep track of your resilience and how to improve your resilience.
