Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course for Moving and Handling. In this course, we’ll take you through everything you’ll need to know to safely move and handle an object or individual.  

This course will cover the different legislation relevant to moving and handling, what your moving and handling responsibilities will be, what the spine is and how it works, the correct way to lift things to avoid injury, lifting hazards, risk assessments, and relevant equipment.  

A selection of tips and advice around moving and handling will also be included.

You will also learn about the spine and how it works.
