Description

Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course on epilepsy. In this course we will take you through everything that you’ll need to know to care for an individual with epilepsy.  

The first section will contain general information on epilepsy, and what epilepsy is. 

The next section will contain information about the possible diagnoses and treatments of epilepsy. 

Following that, we’ll touch on the different forms of seizures an individual may have, and what may trigger them. 

After that, status epilepticus will be covered, involving what it is and how to look out for it. 

The fifth section will cover medications that someone with epilepsy may take.  

Finally, what you should do when an individual has an epileptic fit will be covered.
