Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course for Lone Working. In this course, we will cover everything that you’ll need to know in order to be able to safely and efficiently work by yourself, without needing close or direct supervision.

The first section will contain what lone working is, and some of the relevant legislation involved in lone working.

The next section will cover the potential risks of lone working, the importance of a risk assessment, and how to mitigate risks.

After that, violence and the risks of violence will be touched on, and how best to avoid or mitigate them.

Following that, we’ll touch on health risks and stress levels, how to remain aware of them, and how best to mitigate any issues.

From there, the responsibilities that you may have as a lone worker will be covered.

Finally, training, the limits of working alone, and supervision will be touched on.
