Description

Welcome to the Halo Staffing eLearning course on Dysphagia. In this course, we will guide you through the signs, causes and complications of Dysphagia, and help you to understand why it is relevant in your role.

Firstly, we will cover the definition of dysphagia and list out the signs to be observed. We will also inform you what long-term health conditions these signs can lead to.

The next section will inform you about the causes of dysphagia.

After that, we will cover the complications of dysphagia.

From there, we will see how dysphagia affects children.

The final section will provide information about the treatment, role of speech and language therapy and what adjustments you must make to support individuals suffering from dysphagia.
